(Conclusion of the Kurdish Writing Art Course in Penjwen)

Today, the Penjwen Learning City Program successfully concluded a special course entitled “The Art of Kurdish Orthography and Correct Writing.”
The course was conducted over two days at the Penjwen Public Library under the supervision of Dr. Bahman Tahir Nariman, who holds a Ph.D. in Kurdish Language.
At the end of the course, all participants were awarded certificates of participation. Dr. Nariman emphasized that this course represents an important step toward enhancing the writing skills of the participants.
The Penjwen Learning City Program continues to offer specialized courses aimed at developing the linguistic and cognitive capacities of local citizens.

Children's Environmental Activity in Sulaymaniyah: Library Garden Cleanup

Special Training Session on (Basic First Aid)

As part of the activities of the Penjwen Learning City Program, the Health Department organized a one-day training session entitled: “Basic First Aid: A Pathway to Our Well-being”, held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM and lasting for seven hours.
This session was specifically designed for trainees participating in the summer training program within medical faculties. The training encompassed theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and video demonstrations, and was delivered by the program’s two trainers, Gulan Kamal and Sara Baqi, who led the session using an interactive and evidence-based approach. The training aimed to raise health awareness and equip participants with essential first aid skills.

Seminar on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Education in Penjwen

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM, Professor Dr. Nahla Mohammed Saeed delivered a special seminar entitled:
"The Smart Learning Revolution: How Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping Education?"
The event took place in the Penjwen Learning City hall at the Penjwen Public Library.
The seminar was open to teachers, educational supervisors, professionals in the education sector, as well as researchers and interested individuals.
It explored the transformations brought about by artificial intelligence in the field of education and its influence on teaching and learning methods.

Traffic Safety Awareness Lesson for the Children’s Section of Penjwen City Learning Program

A workshop on techniques and methods of preparing CVs for job search was conducted

The Penjwen Learning City Program, in collaboration with the Migration Consultancy Center (Koch) of Sulaymaniyah Governorate, organized a specialized workshop offered free of charge, focusing on the preparation of professional curricula vitae (CVs) and providing guidance to job seekers. This initiative aimed to mitigate irregular migration and support citizens in identifying and securing employment opportunities.
The workshop was held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Penjwen Public Library. It was facilitated by trainers Muhammad Bahjat Saeed and Naz Zirak Adel and lasted for two to three hours.
The program encompassed comprehensive training on the formulation of professional CVs, effective job search techniques, and an overview of employment opportunities both domestically and internationally. Additionally, participants were equipped with negotiation skills and strategies for follow-up in the job-seeking process.

Three-Day Training Course Concluded

"Primary Health Awareness as a Foundation for the Physical Well-being of Our Children"

Within the framework of the activities conducted by the Penjwen City of Learning program, and under the theme "Primary Health Awareness as a Foundation for the Physical Well-being of Our Children", the health department of the project organized two specialized seminars targeting children enrolled in the summer developmental course for childhood.
These seminars were delivered on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. by the program’s trainers, Gulan Kamal and Andesha Bakhtyar, as part of the broader initiative of the Penjwen City of Learning.
The objective of these sessions was to enhance children's understanding of health and preventive care, and to underscore the critical importance of fostering healthy habits and body awareness from an early stage of development.
 

(Launch of the "Self-Awareness" Course in the City of Penjwen)

As part of an important educational initiative and within a series of developmental activities, a training course entitled "Self-Awareness" was launched today, Saturday, 18/07/2025, by the Penjwen Educational Training Program.
The course is led by Mr. Aras Karim Penjweni, a certified trainer with GATQ and a member of the Academy for Professional Training, who is responsible for delivering and managing the course sessions.
The course will continue over a period of three days (totaling nine training hours), held daily in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and is scheduled to conclude on Monday, 21/07/2025.
This course is open to participation by teachers, employees, students, researchers, and individuals from various segments of society.

Environmental Protection Activity Without Images in Penjwen Town

44 fire extinguishers were distributed to 44 villages in Penjwen town. Penjwen - As part of environmental protection efforts and defense against forest fires and wildfires in the region, a number of villages in Penjwen town were equipped with 44 fire extinguishers. This distribution was carried out within the framework of a joint environmental activity sponsored by the Penjwen Learning City Program and in partnership with the Angels Organization for Environmental Protection. Main Purpose: Fire Prevention The objectives of this initiative include: Protecting the environment from fire hazards Strengthening villagers' capabilities for rapid response Extinguishing any fire incidents by the villagers themselves Educational and Organizational Support This step is an important part of the environmental protection strategy supported by the Penjwen Learning City Program and the Angels Organization, aimed at creating a local defense system against fire hazards. Launch of Specialized Summer Learning Program for Children in Penjwen City

Over 80 Children Participate in the Educational Program Ferboon City - The Penjwen Program launched one of its most significant initiatives for advancing education in the region by establishing a one-month specialized summer learning course specifically designed for children aged 6 to 11 years. Program Features This educational course, which is being conducted with the participation of over 80 children, is organized within the framework of the educational and social activities of the Penjwen Program. The program aims to provide quality learning for children in the area during the summer season. Importance and Impact This initiative is considered a significant step toward advancing education in the region, particularly at a time when the need to address educational gaps in local areas is becoming increasingly evident. End of women's sewing course in Penjwen, the city of learning

Penjwen, 6-7-2 Within the framework of its educational and social programs, Penjwen City of Learning ended a special sewing course for women that was held for 15 days. In a worthy ceremony, more than 100 women participants were awarded certificates of participation, marking the successful conclusion of this special program. The 15-day course aimed to strengthen women’s skills and knowledge in women’s sewing. At the same time, shields of appreciation were awarded to the trainers and teachers who conducted the course, in appreciation of their efforts and participation in the success of this educational and social program.
