Penjwen City of Learning
Today on 7- 11 - 2024 in the presence of Mr. (Heman Ibrahim) Acting Governor of Penjwen District and a delegation consisting of a number of members of the supervisors of Penjwen City of Learning program visited Mr. Dr. Heval Abubakr Governor of Sulaimani. In order to obtain the support of the Governor of Sulaimani to try to make Penjwen a member of the UNESCO World Network of Learning Cities in the future. During the meeting, the latest efforts to register Penjwen as a city of learning in UNESCO were discussed, as well as the city's participation in the annual UNESCO conference for cities of learning in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled to be held in the near future. Finally, the Governor of Sulaimani expressed his full support and appreciation for the project.
A delegation representing Penjwen City of Learning program visited the Presidency of Sulaimani University to congratulate the students on obtaining the first place in Iraqi universities. With a bouquet of flowers, they presented a congratulatory message to Mr. (Professor Dr. Kosar Mohammed) Rector of the University. The following is the text of the congratulations: Penjwen City of Learning Program congratulates the President and all teachers, employees and students of Sulaimani University, on obtaining the first place in the ranking of Iraqi universities according to the British Times Higher Education. This victory is a great and historic achievement for Sulaimani in particular and the Kurdistan Region in general. I wish more success to Sulaimani University.

Mohammadi Khani and Prof. Abdulfattah Hawrami, in a special seminar unveiled the secret of a greater success - emotional intelligence. In this rich seminar, which served as a bridge between the science and art of management, participants learned how to use their emotions effectively to enhance efficiency and innovation in the work environment.” Note: I would like to thank the Penjwen Education Directorate for their cooperation and coordination.
Today on 26-10-2 Penjwen City of Learning program in collaboration with Penjwen Public Library organized a literary conference for Mr. (Dr. Bahman Tahir and Ali Penjweni). At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Zhuwan Penjweni delivered a welcome speech and then in the continuation of the conference, the book 'A Woman Does Not Want to Be a Woman' written by Mr. Ali Penjweni, which artistically talks about human search for his true identity. Dr. Bahman Tayer, with his critical ability and deep understanding of contemporary literature, offers a special reading of this literary writing by Ali Penjweni. A reading that highlights the hidden dimensions the author has brought to light in the story. In several sections, Mr. Ali Penjweni read some of his poems and then Dr. Bahman (who has a doctorate in Kurdish language and education) explained the different aspects of this work in an academic and scientific manner.”
Within the framework of the activities of Penjwen City of Learning program, a seminar on children's nutrition entitled "Healthy food for healthy growth" by Dr. Tara Ali Baban Presented by a child development and nutritionist In this seminar, Dr. Tara highlighted the importance of healthy nutrition for children and its impact on children's physical, mental and intellectual development. He spoke about the need to raise awareness among parents about choosing the right food for their children. The seminar was attended by a number of parents and educators, who were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the problems and challenges of providing healthy food to children and how to solve them. The Penjwen City of Learning program continues to provide awareness and scientific activities to improve children's health and community development in general.
On 2-10-2024 a special and important seminar was held by Mr. (Gashtiar Gharib) founder of Shadman Entrepreneurship Project, which lasted (2 hours) in which the emphasis on decision making and the types and methods of correct decision making were discussed. On behalf of Penjwen City of Learning Program, we would like to thank Mr. (Gashtiar Gharib) for his time devoted to the project and the students.
▫️Hiwakani Khani Group today on 30-9-2024 within the framework of the program of Penjwen City of Learning, held several seminars entitled. 1. Self-knowledge 2. Empathy 3. Effective relationships 4. Innovation 5. Solve problems Hiwakani Khani consists of 17 trainers who have studied life skills in all different sectors under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Khani. Thank you very much to the group (Hiwakani Khani) we wish them continuity and success.
On 21-9-2024, a first aid training course was conducted by Penjwen City of Learning Program in collaboration with Sulaimani Health Awareness Center. At the end of the course, certificates of participation were awarded to 16 students. All these trainers have promised to provide special seminars on first aid awareness to all sections of Penjwen township in the future. 🎯Participants as trainers obtained the following requirements: 🩹 Obtaining a certificate to become a trainer in first aid. 🩹Receiving a special package to become a trainer in the field of first aid. 🩹Familiarity with all the necessary skills related to training. 🩹Knowledge, understanding and skills in different areas of first aid. 🩹Introduction to the conduct of training courses and how to use the package of first aid. After the completion of a barber course on Thursday 19-9-2024, certificates of participation were awarded to the participants of the course that lasted 15 days. Many thanks to Mr. (Sarhang Anwar) who worked hard to teach the participants.
On Thursday 19-9-2024, after the completion of a calligraphy course that Penjwen City of Learning program conducted in collaboration with Penjwen Public Library, certificates of participation were awarded to the participants of this one-month course. Many thanks to Mr. Dara Nuri Aziz for teaching the art of writing to the students for a month.
Today on 12-9-2024 after the successful completion of a course on (Maqamat), certificates of participation were awarded to the participants of the course.
Within the framework of its ongoing activities, Penjwen City of Learning Project organized two seminars for Prof. Abdulfattah Hama Rahim Hawrami 1- Seminar 1 (Skills of Medical Students in the 21st Century: Future Employment Opportunities). 2- Second Seminar (Emotional Intelligence and Secrets of Success in Health Sector)

Penjwen City of Learning program conducted a seminar for children and adolescents, for Mr. (Hataw Aziz), in this seminar children were informed about the excessive use of electronic games and its harms and also several mental games were conducted and gave special benefits to children Thank you very much to Mr. Hataw Aziz for presenting the seminar.
