Their joint efforts form a strong foundation for advancing the quality of healthcare services within the community.
Conclusion of the Two-Day Health Training Course on Pharmacotherapy The Health Department of the Penjwen Learning City successfully concluded today a two-day specialized training course in pharmacotherapy. The course was organized under the supervision of Mr. Loqman Latif, Head of the Health Department, and was dedicated to health staff and graduates of medical disciplines. The course was delivered by the competent trainer, Hawre Salih, who focused on the topic of Fundamentals of Pharmacotherapy and Major Drug Classes, a subject of significant importance for enhancing the quality of healthcare services. The training was held on 20 and 22 November in the hall of the Penjwen Learning City (second floor of the Public Library), from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. At the conclusion of the course, all participants received a Certificate of Participation, serving as evidence of their continued commitment to professional development and ongoing learning. Expressions of appreciation were extended to Mr. Hawre Salih for his scientific contribution and his pivotal role in the success of this health program. Warm thanks were also conveyed to Mr. Loqman Latif for his dedication and ongoing service to the city of Penjwen, as well as for his effective leadership that ensured the successful organization of this training.

Successful Launch of the Pharmacotherapy Training Course in Penjwen.
Today, the Health Department of the Penjwen Learning City Project launched a two-day training course on pharmacotherapy, under the supervision of Mr. Loqman Latif, with the participation of health personnel and graduates of medical departments. The course is delivered by the proficient trainer, Hawre Salih, and focuses on the topic: Fundamentals of Pharmacotherapy and Major Drug Classes, a subject of significant importance for enhancing the quality of healthcare services. The course will be held from 20 to 22 November, over two days, in the hall of the Penjwen Learning City Project (second floor of the Public Library), from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Seminar Titled “What Triggers Diabetes?”
A special seminar on diabetes control was successfully held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Penjwen Hall under the City of Penjwen for Learning program. The seminar was presented by Dr. Mazen Jamila, a general practitioner and an activist in the fields of nutrition and diabetes, under the title What Triggers Diabetes? It took place at 2:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Public Library of Penjwen. The seminar focused on proper methods of controlling blood sugar levels, along with medical guidance for a healthy lifestyle, and included a QA session addressing participants inquiries. At the conclusion of the event, the City of Penjwen for Learning program expressed its gratitude to Dr. Mazen Jamila for his valuable contribution in delivering this important health seminar in the city of Penjwen. Successful Completion of Another First Aid Training Course
Within the framework of the health departments activities under the City of Penjwen for Learning program, another First Aid training course was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 10/1/2025. The course lasted for seven training hours and was delivered by certified trainers Seyran Ali and Sara Ahmad, covering all the essential packages and modules of basic first aid. Organizers emphasized that the training was not limited to medical graduates alone; rather, it was open to all community members, thereby promoting first aid as a vital life skill accessible to everyone. Special Training Session on (Basic First Aid)
As part of the activities of the Penjwen Learning City Program, the Health Department organized a one-day training session entitled: Basic First Aid: A Pathway to Our Well-being, held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM and lasting for seven hours.This session was specifically designed for trainees participating in the summer training program within medical faculties. The training encompassed theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and video demonstrations, and was delivered by the programs two trainers, Gulan Kamal and Sara Baqi, who led the session using an interactive and evidence-based approach. "Primary Health Awareness as a Foundation for the Physical Well-being of Our Children"

Three first aid seminars will be offered in the Penjwen City of Learning program.
Penjwen - Tuesday The health department of Penjwen City of Learning program today took an important step in the field of health information, by presenting three seminars on first aid for the participants of this program's sewing course. These seminars, held in different Ducats and in three halls, were organized with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of the participants in the field of emergency assistance. Content of the seminars: Thankfully, five volunteer trainers and experts in the field of first aid took the responsibility of presenting these seminars: 1- Gulan Kamal 2- Sara Ahmad 3- Zhila Abdulrahman 4- Shagul Rashid 5- Negin Latif Many thanks to Mr. (Luqman Latif) Supervisor of Health Department Four main topics were discussed during these activities: 1. burning Guidelines and procedures for dealing with burn victims and how to help victims 2. broken Teach methods of diagnosing and treating fractures in the emergency room. 3. drowning Training for emergency drowning cases in different ways. 4. cut Enlightenment on how to stop bleeding and protect wounds. Importance of this activity: This special activity comes as part of the overall program of Penjwen City of Learning, which aims to expand the knowledge of participants in different areas of life, especially health and emergency. With this activity, the women participants gained the ability to deal with emergencies until medical help arrives, which plays an important role in saving people's lives.

In the continuation of the series of seminars on breast cancer awareness, today on 12-11-2024 a seminar was presented by volunteer trainers of the health department of Penjwen City of Learning program (Zhila Abdulrahman and Gulan Kamal) at Penjwen Mixed High School. The aim of these health seminars in the simplest sense is to prevent women from developing a widespread deadly disease while at least trying to detect breast cancer in the early stages of the disease that can be treated in a timely and cost-effective manner. During the seminar, participants will be taught how to screen themselves and at the same time train other women who for whatever reason have not been able to attend the project's breast cancer awareness seminar series.
