Penjwen City of Learning
Our mission is not only to teach by speech, but also to provide the participants with as much as we can. 1. Children of this age are not able to carry large and heavy bags. 2. The composition of this backpack is a normal fabric and is relatively environmentally friendly for this summer season. 3. Tell these loved ones that we should accept and appreciate gifts, even if they are small. 4- What is important is that these backpacks were made by the teachers and students of the sewing course of Penjwen City of Learning program on behalf of the program and by the participants of the sewing course for children.
On 27-7-2024 within the framework of (child development summer course) as the health department of our program a seminar on how to protect and brush teeth by nurse Mrs. (Sara Baqi Mahmoud) presented to the children participating in the course The children were instructed on how to clean their teeth and prevent chlorine and decay. Finally, we would like to thank the Health Department (Penjwen City of Learning Program) and all the members and volunteer teachers of this important course and all other activities of our program.
On 24-7-2024, an important educational seminar entitled "Education in the present era" was presented by Trifa Jalal Salih. The seminar was held in the presence of a significant number of women and residents of Penjwen, who enthusiastically welcomed this important issue. During the seminar, Teacher Trifa Jalal spoke about the latest methods of education and the importance of adapting them to the times, with practical guidance for the participants on how to deal with the challenges of contemporary education.
With the start of the summer season, the Penjwen City of Learning program has once again revived the city by opening summer courses to develop children's skills. The course, which began with the participation of more than 22 children from the town, has a bold goal: to turn the summer holidays into a season full of creativity and learning. “This year, for the first time, children will have the opportunity to take advantage of the summer holidays and learn in a new and modern way. The three-week course includes a number of new and innovative activities such as various competitions, art and music, with problem solving in a game-like manner. “My child comes to the course with enthusiasm, this is the first time he has stepped forward with joy!” said one father. Penjwen, a city that has taken big steps towards becoming an educational center, this summer course is a clear example of the success of the path it has chosen.
On 1-7-2024, Penjwen City of Learning program in coordination with Halabja Environmental Office presented two seminars on the role and duty of women in environmental protection to a number of women in Penjwen township They play an important, influential and pivotal role in it, Finally, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to Halabja Environmental Office for organizing this environmental seminar within the framework of Penjwen Learning City Project
Today on 23-6-2024 Sunday, with the participation of about (180) ladies of Penjwen township, after the end of the initial sewing course, thanks were given to each of the volunteer teachers and loyal to the course: Naima Mohammed Rasool Talan Mohammed Ahmed Shaima Bakhtiar Mohammed Shaima Ahmad Fazil Hamida Hassan Hussein Narmin Mohammed Ahmed For their participation, efforts and hard work, Certificates of participation and graduation were also awarded to all participants and students "We learn and grow through experience and effort.
In a glorious and productive atmosphere, the Life Skills course continues to shape new horizons for participants. Today, Dr. Mohammadkhani presented another valuable lesson to the participants of the 40-hour course that is becoming more important day by day. "This course is not only about teaching, but also about making a radical difference in the lives of the participants. In today’s lesson, participants learned to identify their own limitations and how to overcome fear and hesitation, with practical exercises offered that presented opportunities to apply previous theories.
On an evening full of knowledge, the spacious room of the Penjwen Public Library was filled with willing women who aimed to learn the secrets of child rearing. This was on 10-6-2024 in a seminar presented by Dr. Mohammadkhani, an expert in the field of education, entitled "Parenthood and Education" In a scientific and effective manner, Dr. Mohammadkhani spoke about the main pillars of successful education and highlighted the unique role of mothers in creating a balanced and capable generation. The seminar was not just a lecture, but an open discussion between Dr. Mohammadkhani and the participants in which they shared their experiences and problems.
On 10-6-2024, Penjwen City of Learning Program hosted a seminar entitled "The Art of Motherhood" presented by Dr. Mohammadkhani at Penjwen Public Library. This seminar, which was addressed to women living in Penjwen, highlighted several important aspects related to the role of mothers in raising children and the importance of learning motherhood arts. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and comments directly with the presenter and benefit from Dr. Mohammadkhani's experience and knowledge. This activity is part of a series of seminars and activities that Penjwen City of Learning program offers in order to raise social and educational awareness in the region.
In continuation of the activities of (🟠Penjwen City of Learning Program) 🟢Today Sunday 9/6/2024 the Health Department of the program organized three more seminars for a group of ladies participating in the sewing course in Penjwen. The seminars were presented by (Zhila Abdulrahman, Paywast Bakhtiar, Chro Kamal, Sayran Ali, Sarwa Hassan, Gulan Kamal). These seminars were dedicated to (breast cancer), video and written warnings and instructions were given to women on how to do early screening and ways to prevent breast cancer?! In the continuation of health activities (🟠Penjwen City of Learning Program) 🟢Today Thursday 6/6/2024 the health department of the program organized another seminar for a group of ladies participating in the sewing course of Penjwen township, the seminar was presented by (Sara Ahmad). This seminar was dedicated to (breast cancer). In the seminar, women were given warnings and instructions in video and writing on how to do early screening and ways to prevent breast cancer?! As a program of Penjwen City of Learning on Environment Day, we participated in environmental protection by donating several boxes of broken batteries to Halabja Cooperative Medical Society.
Today on 3- 6-2024 Mr. Jamal Jalal Mahmoud Penjweni, during a visit to Penjwen township as a national capitalist, announced several important projects in Penjwen, namely: 1. Construction of a crossing bridge for students of Kani Goej and Nawshakhan neighborhoods 2. Creating a logo as the identity of Penjwen at the city gate 3. Renovation and expansion of the emergency department at the general hospital 4. Supporting the program "Penjwen City of Learning" 5. He decided to build a school in the future. He has also decided to double-side the gate of Penjwen. The main goal is to unite all capabilities to make Penjwen one of the leading districts in the Kurdistan Region in the field of education and services, as it is now in the social, cultural and cultural fields.
On 2-6-2024 on Sunday with the participation of more than (180) women in (3) halls and in (2) batches the first day of the basic sewing course for women of Penjwen began and will last for (10) days.
