Python Programming Course Successfully Kicks Off! The first day of the Python Programming Course successfully began today. Over the course of three days, participants will explore the fundamental concepts of Python and gain practical experience with the language. The course is delivered by Trainer Mr. Alan Qaradakhi, with the aim of developing participants skills and introducing learners to one of the most powerful and in-demand programming languages in todays world. We wish all participants a valuable learning experience and continued success throughout the remaining days of the course.

With great joy and a wonderful sense of achievement, we successfully concluded our special drawing workshop, which continued for two days filled with enjoyment, creativity, and learning. Throughout these two days, participants explored their artistic abilities in two different forms of art and created unique, beautiful artworks: - Day One: Painting on canvas. - Day Two: Painting on stones using a distinctive style and creative artistic touches. Day One of an Inspiring Art Workshop Today, we successfully completed the first day of a special and inspiring art workshop dedicated to painting, in an atmosphere filled with passion, creativity, and vibrant colours. The first day was dedicated to painting on canvases, while the second day will focus on creating artwork using stones, offering a unique artistic experience that brings together learning, innovation, and creative expression. This activity was initiated through the valuable idea of Ms. Namam Mohammed and conducted under the supervision and expert guidance of Ms. Suzyar Ata, whose experience and guidance helped create a distinctive educational and artistic environment, providing participants with a wonderful opportunity to learn and express their talents. It is a matter of great pride that more than 60 talented artists and aspiring painters took part in this workshop, expressing their individual artistic perspectives and adding their own creative touches to their work. Their participation brought even greater vibrancy and beauty to the workshop. Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to all participants and to every creative hand and artistic talent that contributed its colours, passion, and creativity to making this day truly beautiful and memorable.

Penjwen Takes a New Step Towards the Horizons of Art and Culture As part of the activities and initiatives of the Penjwen Learning City Programme, an academic and scientific music training course for learners in the region was successfully concluded today, marking a new step for Penjwen towards broader horizons of art and culture. The course provided a valuable opportunity for music enthusiasts to develop their passion in accordance with international standards. Participants were introduced to several fundamental areas of music, including: - Musical Sounds and Notes: Exploring the world of musical tones and notes through an academic approach. - Musical Timing and Tempo: Developing skills in controlling musical tempo and organising rhythmic durations during performance. - Musical Maqams: Understanding the fundamental principles of Kurdish, Eastern, and international modal systems. - Rhythm Development: Learning different rhythmic patterns, techniques, and their applications in musical performance. The course ran for one month, with sessions held every Sunday and Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. It was open to learners aged over 12 and commenced on 16 August 2026. One of the course's distinctive features was the provision of a dedicated training programme for women to learn to play the daf, a traditional frame drum, through a specialised approach tailored to this particular learning pathway. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the dedicated team of trainers, whose commitment, hard work, and professional guidance played a vital role in the success of the course and the development of these emerging talents. An Awareness Seminar on Breast Cancer As part of ongoing efforts to promote women's health awareness and safeguard their well-being, a special awareness seminar on breast cancer was organised for participants in the Daf (traditional frame drum) training course. The seminar was delivered by trainer Gulan Kamal, who presented valuable information and practical guidance to enhance participants' health awareness. The main topics covered included: - Basic awareness of breast cancer and its risk factors. - The importance of early detection in identifying the disease at an early stage and improving the chances of successful treatment. - Practical guidance on performing monthly breast self-examinations. - Promoting psychological well-being and encouraging women to attend regular medical check-ups. The participants showed great interest in the information and guidance provided. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion and answers to questions from the attendees. Women's health and well-being are fundamental to building an informed, healthy, and resilient society.

A Proud Achievement for the Penjwen Learning City Programme at the Talent Creators Exhibition On 2 September 2026, the Talent Creators event was held in Sulaymaniyah in the presence of the Governor of Sulaymaniyah and the Director General of Education in Sulaymaniyah. The event aimed to showcase, promote, and market students projects and innovations. The Penjwen Learning City Programme was proud to participate in this inspiring event, which celebrated creativity, innovation, and the entrepreneurial potential of students. Two of our dedicated and talented students, Irnas Saman and Hastyar Rizgar, participated in the exhibition, presenting a collection of distinctive products and three innovative projects. Their work attracted the attention of attendees and senior officials. Our outstanding students not only succeeded in showcasing their talents and abilities but also secured several promising opportunities across different fields, marking an important step towards further developing their projects and expanding their future prospects. The Penjwen Learning City Programme has always believed in the creative thinking and innovative potential of its students. Their participation and success in events of this kind stand as clear evidence of their ability to bring our vision to life by transforming ideas from theory into practical applications that serve the community. Awareness: A Sign of Happiness Today, an informative and insightful seminar entitled Awareness Is a Sign of Happiness was held and delivered by Mr. Aras Penjweni, who presented the topic in an engaging and scientifically grounded manner. The seminar focused on the following key themes: - The Role of Self-Awareness: Understanding oneself and developing a deeper awareness of the surrounding environment. - Developing Positive Thinking: Exploring ways to cultivate positive thinking and achieve emotional well-being and inner peace. - Awareness and Genuine Happiness: Understanding the connection between awareness, insight, and the pursuit of genuine happiness in everyday life. Protecting the Environment and Combating Forest Fires in Halabja As part of a new initiative and the continuation of an effort that has been underway for several years to provide forest fire suppression equipment to different areas, the organisation Malakawa Dil Jnge has provided nine additional units to support the Halabja Civil Defence Directorate and the Martyr Ari Firefighting Team. Practical guidance was also provided to the teams on how to operate and make effective use of the equipment, as well as on appropriate methods for controlling forest fires and preventing their spread. This project and initiative will continue, with the aim of extending access to firefighting equipment and training on forest fire control techniques to as many areas across the Kurdistan Region as possible. The initiative builds on several years of accumulated experience in this field. It is worth noting that: - Six of the devices were provided through the financial support of Mr. Sheikh Tahir. - The remaining devices were supplied as part of the second phase of a campaign to distribute 70 forest fire suppression devices, implemented within the framework of the Penjwen Learning City Programme. Throughout the course, particular attention was given to the strategies, practical techniques, and essential details involved in managing and growing a business through social media pages, from the fundamentals to achieving tangible and measurable results. We extend our sincere appreciation and special thanks to the trainer, Gishtyar Gharib, for delivering such valuable, practical knowledge in a detailed, systematic, and academically grounded manner. His contribution played an important role in enriching the participants learning experience and strengthening their knowledge and skills.
