Penjwen Autumn Festival for Local Products Kicks Off: A Platform to Showcase Farmers’ Hard Work

 

The Penjwen Autumn Festival for Local Products officially kicked off on Thursday amid Penjwen’s beautiful natural surroundings, at Lazo Park. The festival marks an important step towards revitalizing the region’s agricultural sector by promoting farmers’ hard work and raising awareness of the rich variety of locally produced goods.

 

The agricultural festival is held under the supervision of the Penjwen District Administration, with active participation from several government institutions and environmental and civil society organizations. The Penjwen Learning City Programme plays a key role as one of the main partners in organizing the festival. The opening activities were attended by Zana Rahman, the Programme’s Director General.

- Penjwen Municipality Presidency.

- Penjwen Directorate of Agriculture.

- Penjwen Veterinary Department.

- Penjwen Learning City Programme.

- The organizations: Malakawa for Environmental Protection, Creative Farmers, Food Safety, and the Derakht Group.

 

The festival will run for three days, from 17 to 19 September. Al-Atlas Al-Aseel Company is providing financial sponsorship, while Kurdsat Media Organization is the media sponsor.

 

The festival offers residents and visitors a valuable opportunity to purchase fresh, natural, locally produced goods directly from farmers, helping support local agricultural producers and promote the region’s agricultural products.
