A meeting to discuss Penjwen's steps towards UNESCO and successful participation in the Congress of World Learning Cities. Today on 25-12-2024 in the presence of the Governor of Sulaimani, the Governor of Penjwen district and a number of directors and representatives of government offices, parties and different sections of the district, an important and purposeful meeting was held, Within the framework of the efforts of Penjwen to obtain membership in the UNESCO Learning Cities Network, a high-level delegation of Penjwen Learning City program participated in the 6th Congress of World Learning Cities held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Penjwen delegation expressed that their city has a great position and history in the field of education and they are ready to participate in the process of exchanging experience and expertise with the learning cities of the world. It is worth mentioning that Penjwen's membership in the UNESCO Learning Cities Network will open a new gateway for the development of education in the city and provide more opportunities to benefit from the experience of developed countries in this field. Thus, Penjwen has taken an important step towards the international level and is expected to become one of the UNESCO learning cities in the near future.
