"From the pulpit to the community, an educational and social perspective"

On Thursday, 8-5-2025, a seminar for religious teachers entitled "From the pulpit to society, an educational and social perspective" was held in Penjwen township. This activity was presented by Mr. Dr. Mohammadkhani with the participation of a number of religious teachers of the town. The objectives of this seminar were: - The role of religious teachers in educating society. - Connecting religion with the social needs of the times. - Teachers' ways to cope with and be aware of the developments of the times, especially the benefits and problems of artificial intelligence today.

Another hero will be awarded in Penjwen.

Today, in a special ceremony, Penjwen City of Learning Program presented an award to Mr. Bandand Baqi Osman for his great victory in the International MMA Championship. This Kurdish athlete has been able to show a high level in the international arena and has raised the name of Kurdistan at the world level. Bandib Baqi's victory has been a source of pride for the entire Kurdish people.

Overcoming Stress Seminar.

Today on 27-2-2025, a seminar entitled "How to overcome stress" was held in Penjwen Hall of Learning City. This seminar was presented by Rangin Nuri, a psychologist and trainer. The seminar focused on new ways to recognize the sources of stress and how to manage it in everyday life. Rangin Nuri talked about the importance of slowdown actions and breathing techniques as the main mechanism for reducing stress. Participants actively participated in the discussions and asked various questions about the topic. Finally, an intensive discussion took place between the attendees and the instructor in which personal experiences and approaches were shared. Finally, the High Board of Penjwen City of Learning Program thanked (Rangin Nuri) psychologist and trainer.

Self-confidence

Trainer Mr. (Aras Penjweni) "Trainer and holder of (TOT) certificate and Bachelor of Business Administration and Global Academic Member (GATQ) for Training and Certification of the American Institute of Practical Education” delivered an important seminar entitled “Self-Confidence”. During the seminar, the trainer explained the following topics: - How to strengthen self-confidence - New climbing techniques - How to get rid of negative thinking - Ways to achieve goals Attending these seminars is a good opportunity for everyone who wants to make positive changes in their lives. Artificial intelligence and an invention for the future.

In the continuation of the activities of Penjwen City of Learning program, today on 20-2-2025, held an important workshop on the impact and importance of artificial intelligence in our future lives. The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Nahla Mohammed Saeed, a lecturer and researcher at the Kurdistan Board for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research. The workshop focused on the major changes that artificial intelligence is creating in the areas of health, education, industry and our daily lives. New opportunities and challenges facing the development of artificial intelligence were also discussed. The importance of being prepared for these changes and how to take advantage of this new technology will also be covered. Finally, the member of the Board of Directors of Penjwen City of Learning Program thanked Mr. (Professor Dr. Nahla Mohammed Saeed) and wish him success.

"New era for motorcyclists in Penjwen"

New seminar for young motorcyclists in Penjwen Within the framework of the program "Penjwen is a city of learning", a seminar entitled "A new era for motorcyclists of Penjwen" was presented by Dr. Mohammadkhani in the presence of young people of Penjwen and different regions of Kurdistan. This important seminar, aimed at raising the awareness of young motorcyclists, covered a number of important issues on maintaining safety and how to use motorcycles properly in the city. Penjwen participates in the meeting of innovative cities of the world in UNESCO.

🔸Today, the city of Ahsa; UNESCO Creative City of Crafts, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Comrade Abubakr, Governor of Sulaimani, at the official invitation of the Secretariat of Ahsa Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the presence of Emir Saud bin Talal bin Badr Al Saud, Crown Prince and Governor of Ahsa Nationals and Governors of UNESCO Creative Cities in the World, led by a delegation from Kurdistan and Sulaimani Province (Creative City of Literature in UNESCO and 🔸Penjwen candidate for the title of Learning City in UNESCO), with the membership of 🪪Dr. City of Learning and Engineer Shamal Abubakr, Head of Sulaimani Chamber of Creative City of Literature at UNESCO, participated in the opening ceremony of the UNESCO International Meeting for Crafts and National Arts. Motorcycle show in Penjwen.

Penjwen Program; The city of learning, within its youth section, through the youth of the town participate in a motorcycle tournament, which was supervised by the governor of Pinjwen district and the permission of security agencies and in the presence of a significant number of motorcyclists. How to reach our goals early

On December 21, 2025, a seminar entitled “How to reach our goals soon” was held in Penjwen City of Learning program. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Tawana Abdulkarim Penjweni, he highlighted the most important ways to determine and achieve personal and professional goals. Participants learned many new techniques and strategies for effective planning and successful implementation. The importance of perseverance and perseverance through achieving goals was also discussed. “Achieving goals requires careful planning and timing. A meeting to discuss Penjwen's steps towards UNESCO and successful participation in the Congress of World Learning Cities. Today on 25-12-2024 in the presence of the Governor of Sulaimani, the Governor of Penjwen district and a number of directors and representatives of government offices, parties and different sections of the district, an important and purposeful meeting was held, Within the framework of the efforts of Penjwen to obtain membership in the UNESCO Learning Cities Network, a high-level delegation of Penjwen Learning City program participated in the 6th Congress of World Learning Cities held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Penjwen delegation expressed that their city has a great position and history in the field of education and they are ready to participate in the process of exchanging experience and expertise with the learning cities of the world. It is worth mentioning that Penjwen's membership in the UNESCO Learning Cities Network will open a new gateway for the development of education in the city and provide more opportunities to benefit from the experience of developed countries in this field. Thus, Penjwen has taken an important step towards the international level and is expected to become one of the UNESCO learning cities in the near future.
